Oral Lichen Planus Clinical Trial
Do you have Oral Lichen Planus?
We are testing an investigational mouth rinse for Oral Lichen Planus.
Oral Lichen Planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects the mucous membranes inside your mouth. It can cause pain, making eating, drinking and even speaking uncomfortable.
There are no approved drug treatments for OLP, and most existing treatments only help relieve symptoms.
Common questions about the study
Who can participate?
Men and women 18 years old and older diagnosed with OLP.
How long does the study last?
Approximately 8 weeks.
How many times do I go to the clinic?
If you qualify and choose to participate, you will have 5 in person visits and one phone call.
What happens at the study visits?
At your study visits you will have oral examinations with photographs taken of the inside of your mouth. You will answer questions about your pain and symptoms
and have some routine blood tests.
What does it cost?
You will not be charged for participating in the study. The mouth rinse and office visits will be covered by the study sponsor.
Will I be compensated for my time?
Yes, compensation will be provided.
